They have been hand-woven from hand-spun alpaca and sheep wool using a traditional back strap loom. All dyes are organic from natural plant sources. Two pieces of cloth are made to the width of the loom and then sewn together. It takes around six weeks to make. They are thick and each is one-of-a-kind in colour and design.

These frazadas were sourced from the Sacred Valley near Cuzco in the Peruvian Andes.
These beautiful textiles are handwoven in small remote villages in the Andean mountain range using natural dyes. There may be slight imperfections. loose threads or small marks such as candle wax as the artisans choose to weave at night under candle light.
